Edwin Schoon (1970) is schrijver en documentairemaker. Met zijn eerste boek De macht van de bal (2010) won hij de Nico Scheepmaker Beker voor het beste sportboek. In 2019 verscheen BASTA, dat in zes landen is vertaald en waarvan meer dan 100.000 exemplaren zijn verkocht.
